Technology Department
The Technology Department at SICS is committed to providing reliable, secure, and accessible technology resources that support teaching, learning, operations, and communication across the school community.
Our goal is to maintain a strong technology infrastructure that allows students, staff, and families to access the tools and information they need to be successful.
The mission of the Technology Department is to support the school through dependable technology services, effective systems management, and responsive support. We work to ensure that classroom technology, network services, student devices, communication tools, and data systems are maintained, secure, and aligned with the needs of the school.
To support this mission, the Technology Department works to:
- Provide reliable support for computers, Chromebooks, audio/visual systems, phones, cameras, web-based platforms, smartboards and other technology services.
- Support the effective use of technology in classrooms, offices, and school operations.
- Maintain and improve the school’s network infrastructure to provide secure and dependable connectivity.
- Manage technology systems that support instruction, administration, communication, and student services.
- Protect electronic data and ensure appropriate access to school systems and information.
- Support new technology initiatives that improve efficiency, instruction, and school operations.
- Provide timely and dependable access to the systems and tools used by students and staff.
